About Ricky Shirah


Ricky is a native of Polk County where he has lived and worked his entire life. He graduated from Kathleen High School and has been loyal to his school and community serving on several boards. He worked at Publix Supermarket for 21 years in a supervisory capacity as a “Driver Trainer.” He began his own towing and recovery service in 1994 and continues to own and operate this business today. He knows the responsibilities of budgeting, and meeting a payroll when times are tough.

Ricky has been committed to public service throughout his life and is well-respected by his colleagues, local law enforcement personnel and government officials.

  8. One of the leaders in the successful effort to prevent the Boss Mayor campaign in Lakeland.
